We have been using Version 1.0.0.27 for some time on a Windows 2008R2 64 bit server. We get a popup window from time to time offering to upgrade to the latest version. When we install the upgrade it fails to run and we would prefer to keep using the old version for now. We use the program from the command line and the upgrade offer stops it completing.

Is there a way to stop it checking for updates? I can't see anything in the options for this.

Thanks and regards,
Terry Gentle

Hello Terry,

Upgrade is recommended. If upgrade fails, when upgrade setup is launched, it may request you to close running Comparator Fast for Windows before continue. To close Comparator Fast, go to Main menu> File and choose Exit (or right-click System Tray icon and choose Exit).

You may also upgrade downloading current installer from:
http://www.interdesigner.com/downloads.htm
Before install, must exit Comparator Fast (same instructions).

If you want to disable Check for Updates, just go to Main Menu> Help> Check for update option, go to Settings tab and uncheck Automatically check for update every 7 days.

Regards,
