This error means “connection timeout”. If you click the Log tab on main window (Network Clipboard), you may see details if any. You may also right-click the log and enable Debug mode.

A common cause for this error is a firewall. You need to enable Network Clipboard with specified port (default is 6000) at your firewall (if you use Windows Firewall, you may found instructions online here:
