Hello, This is still scheduled for release 1.0.0.29, but I want to include it for release 1.0.0.28 (major release). Anyway, all customers and subscribers always receive email notifications about a new software release. Regards, Daniel

Hi,
Any news on a new release that includes this subfolder feature?

Comment on selecting subfolders by typing in the paths in "Files to Scan."
- There's a limit on the number of characters that can be typed in. I have subfolders that have similar names
For example: Studies - Fall 2005 \ CourseX \ Paper 01 \ References Work \ Winter 2006 \ BiolX \ References Work \ Winter 2006 \ Paper 01 \ References
So, I cannot just type in *\References\* because it will then include all 3 "references" folders. I only want, for example "Work \ Winter 2006 \ Paper 01 \ References."
This means, I'll have to type in more of the path to make it exclusive - "Work \ Winter 2006 \ Paper 01 \ References."
You typed in 8 paths in your post "*\3\*; *\4\*; *\5\*; *\2b\*; *\2c\*; *\2d\*; *\2a2\*; *\2a4\*". If I have to type in more specific paths for each of the 8, I ran out of characters.
Which is why being able to select by "checking" the subfolders is more practical.
Thank you for saying that you'll include that feature in a future release. I'll just wait for that release then and make do, for the meantime, with running my 3 presets each time I do a sync

Thanks, I'll try your suggestion but I hate doing it this way (too many chances of making a mistake when typing in all those paths).
Comment on enabling selecting subfolders by "checking": We should be able to save "subfolder selection setting" in a Preset. Currently, when I have Folder A as the source target and then select (check) subfolders A2 to A4, the next time I do a sync, I have to again go through clicking "Select subfolders" so that I can unselect subfolder A1.

Hello, Using your example, and assuming your Pen Drive's letter is X:, you may create a single preset using: Source: c:\ Target: x:\ Files to Scan: *\3\*; *\4\*; *\5\*; *\2b\*; *\2c\*; *\2d\*; *\2a2\*; *\2a4\*That means, only files with the exact defined path will be scanned and compared, the rest ignored. Thanks for your suggestion, it'll be included in a future release. Best regards, Daniel

Problem:
Currently, when you click on "Subfolders," you can only see one Subfolder level.
Example:
Root directory or folder - Subfolder A1 - Subfolder A2 - Subfolder A3
You cannot select any of the subfolder levels within/under, for example, subfolder A1.
The difficulty with this setup is, if you happen to want to backup only several specific subfolders beyond level A, you'll have to create and run several presets.
In the example below, if: I want to synchronize/backup folders 3, 4, and 5 completely (i.e., everything within each folder) - this is one preset I want to sync/backup 2b, 2c, and 2d completely - this is another preset I want to sync/backup 2a2 up to 2a4 - this is another preset
All in all, I run 3 presets to sync my USB stick with my compu.
Example:
C:\ 1 2 2a 2a1 2a2 2a3 2a4 2a5 2b 2c 2d ... up to 2n 3 4 5 6 ... UP TO 32
Wish list item: Enable selecting subfolders (all levels) within subfolders.
