Can't I scan ONE folder for duplicates within that folder?

Hello Allan,

If you mean scan a single folder to search for REPEATED files (exact/same files, no matter where are saved within a specified folder), the answer is YES, you can do it (please use latest release 1.0.0.27, you may download it at http://www.interdesigner.com/downloads.htm). Only when scanning for Repeated Files (I recommend you use MD5 method) Comparator Fast allows specify same folder for source and target (just leave target folder blank, Comparator Fast will set same Source folder).

The concept of DUPLICATES is for exact files in same subfolder structure based on two different folders comparison.

If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate contact me.
