Get Remote Log and Status

Use the "Get Remote Log and Status" tool to monitors a remote Network Clipboard's log and computer status.

As Administrator, you may found useful to get the remote log of a Network Clipboard and Viewer
, specially to debug a problem.

First, you need to select the remote host you want to process. Then, you may click the Get Log button to start the process (it will perform the 2 tasks at once: Get the remote log and Get the remote status).

If you just need the remote status, you may right-click the host name (or Events Log panel) and choose the Get status option.

Other commands available are:

·Enable debug log: select this command to enable debug mode log at specified remote host.  
·Disable debug log: select this command to disable debug mode for log at remote host.  
·Enable/disable log: choose this command to switch enable/disable log at remote host. If remote host's log is disabled to increase Network Clipboard and Viewer speed, you may need to enable it to see tasks results.  
·Clear log: use this command to clear log at remote host.  
 
·Save log: to save current received log to text file.  



Status

The status indicators of remote host are easy to understand:

·Debug Log: checked if debug mode for log is enabled at remote host.  
 
·Log enabled: checked if log is enabled at remote host.  
 
·Total memory: is the total physical memory at remote host.  
 
·Available memory: is the available physical memory at remote host.  
 
·Formats count: is the total numbers of clipboard formats found on remote host's Clipboard.  
 
·Logged user: is the user name of the logged user at remote host.  
 
·Domain: is the Domain name / Workgroup for the remote host.  
 
·Settings file: is the complete path and file name of the settings file at remote host. If path is Windows folder, is an Unified settings file.  
 
·Space available: is a representation of space available on Network Clipboard's data folder at remote host.  
 
·Space free: is the free space on Network Clipboard's drive at remote host.  
 
·Space total: is the total space on Network Clipboard's drive at remote host.  
 
·Hardware key: is the hardware key of remote Network Clipboard and Viewer.  
 
·Windows uptime: is the total time Windows is running at remote host since started.  
 
·Windows version: complete Windows version at remote host.  
 
·NetClip version: release version of remote Network Clipboard and Viewer.  
 
·Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock status: the keyboard status at remote host.  
 
·Screen size: the size of screen at remote host, Width x Height.
